Help Inspire Me! :)

Hello! Alright. I need help from everyone one of you guys. (all 7!!!) I have joined a story-writing club that one of our friends is starting, and I need help deciding what my story should be about. I have chosen historical fiction as my genre, and now I need you guys to vote on the details. Please do this, because it will help inspire me! If you have siblings, ask them what they think...okay?

So choose which letter you want from each question:

Which time period should I write from?
a. Civil War
b. Great Depression
c. Colonial

Who should the story center around?
a. a boy
b. a young lady
c. a family
d. a married woman

Where should this story take place?
a. a rural area

c. in another person's house (i.e. a servant working for a rich family, etc.)

What sort of circumstances should this person come from?

c. middle-class (i.e. merchants, blacksmith, carpenter, tradespeople)

What sort of storyline should this be?
a. a journal of a person
b. the person telling this as a story
c. an adventure story
d. a mystery (PLEASE NO!!!! :)

Should this storyline center closely around a certain historical figure?

c. yes, but not too closely
d. no, but mention historical people
e. Absolutely (if so, who?)

haha, just found your blog and couldn't resist commenting on this. :D

Write about a young lady in the French Revolution from a foreign country (ie she's not really French, but she thinks she is), who lives in the city but loves the country (she has faint memories of a different life), and is middle-class (and so regarded with suspician by both sides of the Revolution), and it should definitely be an adventure story. Don't center it on a famous historical figure, but you should mention whichever leaders a middle-class girl living in the city would have heard of. :D

Ha, and I just saw you like the Peasall sisters! I saw them at a family bluegrass festival a while ago... fun! :D I haven't seen that on anyone else's profile...

Hey guys! Jo, you certainly could send me some "Scrappies" if you wanted! Katherine, great ideas! Yeah, we love the Peasall sisters, but lately I was disappointed to see the way they had sort of conformed to the world in their dress. :(
